Fay Series Lectures
Texas A&M University Press has made available online all books emanating from the Fay Lectures in Analytical Psychology endowed by Carolyn and Ernest Fay and held yearly in College Station, Texas. These can be located through this link to the Press web site (www.tamupress.com) to anyone interested, with the hope that previewing the material will motivate purchase of traditional paper-bound books.
The Journal of Analytical Psychology is celebrating this laudable venture that is of benefit to the worldwide Jungian community by reviewing the fifteen Fay Series books now in print and available online, and making these reviews freely available to download here.
David Tacey, PhD, associate professor in the School of Critical Enquiry, La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia, has generously given his time to the Herculean task of reviewing all fifteen books. To facilitate reading, David has grouped the reviews to some extent thematically rather than in chronological order.
In this edition, you will find eight reviews including books by Murray Stein, James Hollis, Roberto Gambini, Stanton Marlan, Sonoko Toyoda, Claire Douglas, Marion Woodman and Polly Young-Eisendrath. In a further edition of the Journal (2010) you will find reviews of books by Verena Kast, John Beebe, Anthony Stevens, Hayao Kawai, Luigi Zoja, Jan Wiener and Joseph Cambray. We hope that you will appreciate this survey of a body of work by some of the well-known analyst/writers in our field today.
